Our Franklin County office is situated in a quiet neighborhood off U.S. Route 2 at 347 Depot Street, near downtown Wilton. The former child care facility provides services to Wilton, nearby Farmington and surrounding communities.

Don Acorn, LCSW, LADC, Clinical Team Leader
Ext.
Don holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of New England. He enjoys working with dually diagnosed adults (substance abuse with mental health and/or trauma issues). Since joining PROTEA, Don's goals have been to help establish a substance abuse program as well as providing outpatient therapy and serving as the Wilton office's team leader. He has worked in the human services field since 1965, and continues to find, after more than 30 years of clinical and administrative experience, that there is nothing more rewarding, exciting and satisfying than working deeply with people who need help.

Kirt Woodman, LCPC

Kirt holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a masters degree in counseling, both earned through the University of Southern Maine. He has twenty-three years of experience in mental health administration, supervision, therapist support and recovery services. His special interests include solution-focuses therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, psychosocial rehabilitation and EMDR Trauma Healing.

Judith Zink, LCSW

Judith holds a Masters of Social Work degree, which she earned from the University of New England in 1999. Her therapy practice centers around caring conversations with those in need of support, healing and change. She helps facilitate trauma/abuse recovery and empowerment for survivors of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. She also facilitates groups in creative recovery, working with adults and adolescents. In the past, she has worked for the Abused Women's Advocacy Project and in various outpatient mental health settings. Judith brings her creativity to her work, including her experience in creative/expressive movements and her love for the outdoors and touching nature.

Nina serves as the administrative support person for PROTEA's Wilton office, handling medical records, client services, scheduling and other office tasks. She brings to PROTEA five years of experience in the mental health services field, and over fifteen years in medical records experience at full-service community hospitals. Her specialties include cost awareness and safety awareness.
